It can be accessed by the convent gate, piazza Trinità dei Monti, 3 (on the left of the church)

the sisters of the Sacred Heart
In 1828, the site of Trinité-des-Monts was entrusted to a new community of that time, the Sisters of the Sacred Heart, a teaching congregation founded by Saint Madeleine Sophie Barrat.
Pauline Perdreau
To welcome the Virgin Mary into the convent was the wish of the young “novice” Pauline Perdreau. In the middle of the 19th century, she painted the “Mater Admirabilis” mural, in one of the corridors of the convent where the sisters of the Sacred Heart lived at that time.
Mater Admirabilis
Pope Pius IX, on visiting the convent recognised this fresco and gave the authorisation to change the corridor into a chapel. Since then, many people come to pray with Mater Admirabilis, and we have seen many graces given to the pilgrims through their prayers here.

Mother Most Admirable,
Treasury of calm and serenity,
we love you for the light of your lowered eyes,
for the peaceful countenance of your face,
for the revelatory attitude of your interior plenitude.
You are the Virgin of the invisible and the essential.
We beseech you to detach us,
to remove us from all that can be seen,
to bring us back and fix us on the invisible that your eyes see :The invisible presence, the invisible life,
The invisible action, the invisible love.
In our busy lives, overloaded,
Keep us in the light of that which is unseen.
Through that which solicits us and beguiles us often
Give us also the sense and hunger of the essential.
